The horses were incredible, their stamina and their sure footedness. I felt safe on my horse the entire trip. The scenery was beautiful and I loved meeting the owners of the Inn's at each stop. They were great hosts. Can Jou was great, the people were very accomadating and a pleasure to be with. Our guide was an excellent horseman and she and Miguel did everything do make this trip wonderful.

The accommodations, the wonderful countryside. Our guide was fantastic. The horses were generally great. Expectations fulfilled: Yes. We were told it would be very demanding and it was!! I loved it!! This was a fantastic ride in every sense. Very well planned, excellent in every way.

The riding was FANTASTIC and the horses were so athletic and well suited to their riders. I met very interesting people and I love Cava. What bothered me: I wish I had been informed that we would have to walk for a while up and down certain areas. I wore a pair of riding boots Not suited for hiking. I didn't mind the walking, just my footwear. Expectations fulfilled: Yes. The area was beautiful, the accommodations great and the riding fantastic. The horses were very well trained and suited to the rugged terrain. I was amazed at their ability to deal with the rocks and steep inclines we went up and down. Our guide was great.

We enjoyed the scenery, the other riders, the whole experience. The accomodations were good--clean and pleasant. The people we came in contact with there very nice and welcoming. The food was varied and good. Our guide was informative, knowledgeable and fun. Expectations fulfilled: Yes. We hoped to have a ride with lots of trotting and cantering and we were NOT disappointed. We hoped to enjoy beautiful scenery, and it was wonderful. Can Jou farm itself is a delightful place. The hotels and farms where we stayed were lovely.

The accomodations and wonderful food made coming back from each day's ride a real pleasure. With 40 horses to choose from, there were mounts to suit everyone's taste. These horses are very well taken care of and I liked how their needs came ahead of the riders. The staff took very good care of us and made each person feel very welcome. What bothered me: Absolutely nothing! Expectations fulfilled: Yes. Final Comments: I would have no qualms about recommending any of Canjou's trail rides as the week not only met, but exceeded all of my expectations. The lodge and meals were incredible. The staff exceptional! The horses amazing! I am already planning for a repeat trip as I cannot imagine it getting any better. The large number of repeat customers faithful to Canjou says a lot about the overall experience. I can't wait to go back.
